Gerald "Jerry" B. McClellan, age 86, of Battle Creek, died Wednesday January 11, 2017 at Bronson at Home Hospice. Jerry was born August 19, 1930 in Goodrich, Michigan to George and Jean (McGlashan) McClellan. Jerry was a graduate of Goodrich High School and attended Michigan State University. He had worked in retail at several stores for 20 years before working as parts manager for Franklin Electric Co. retiring in 1992. Jerry was a member of Christ United Methodist Church and was a founding member of the Southwest Michigan Scottish Club. Jerry enjoyed playing the Bagpipes and was member of the Klan McNeill in Lansing. Jerry had been a crew member for many years at the Balloon Festival and had served as an observer as well. Jerry is survived by his wife of 65 years, the former Ann "Molly" Margaret Strabbing, a son, Gregory (Terrie) McClellan of Battle Creek, Seven grandchildren, and Three great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by a daughter, Linda McClellan, sons, Robert and Scott McClellan
