Brandon Cummings, son of Gloria Jean Sumpter and the late Frank Clea Jr. and stepson of Charles Sumpter, was born Jan. 10, 1986, in Sumter.
He attended the public schools of Sumter County.

He leaves to cherish his memories: his mother, Gloria Jean Sumpter; one sister, Lakim Cummings; one brother, Christopher Cummings; one nephew, Trevon Fullwood; two sons, Zavion Burgess and Eligah Cummings, all of Sumter; nine aunts, Rose Oliver, Janie Daniels, Josephine Shaw, Bertha Shaw, Betty Brown, Jackie Cummings, Marie Cummings, Aletha Mae Durant and Theresa (Robert) McCray; four uncles, James Anderson, Eddie Cummings, David Thomas Clea and John Fitzgerald Clea, all of Sumter; special friends, Travis Moore, Brandon Craft and Jamie Mouboro; and a host of other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, father, nephews, aunt and cousins.

Funeral services: Salem Chapel and Heritage Center, 101 S. Salem Ave., Sumter, with the Rev. Frederick Martin officiating.

Interment: Aycock Cemetery.
