Angela Janita McClelland, was born in Iredell County on February 18, 1973, and was the daughter of Lena Mae White McClelland and the late Floyd Edward McClelland.

She slept away on Tuesday, May 16, 2017, at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem, N. C. She graduated from Statesville High School and attended Mitchell Community College. She was employed by NGK Ceramics, Inc.

She is survived by her husband, Wayne Johnson.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her grandmother, Lular Mae Hairston and her grandfathers, Harvey Lee Hairston and Lex White.

"Neat-Neat", as she was affectionately called, leaves to cherish the memory of her life, her loving family members including her mother, Lena Mae McClelland; her husband, Wayne Johnson; her mother-in-law, Phyllis Johnson; her children, Kelli McClelland and April McClelland, both of Statesville; her step children, Ashely Smith and Zaki Johnson; her sisters, Diane McClelland, Michelle McClelland and Wanda McClelland; two brothers, Floyd McClelland, Jr. and Bernard McClelland, both of Statesville; her nieces, Tanya, Marketta, Kiara, Justice, SaDreama, Dasia and Brianna; nephews, Marquise, Justin, Rasheed, Christopher and Qualyne; her great nieces and great nephews, JaMari, JaiVion, AhMire, Lynn, Jr., Airianna, Kei'Maury, Ki'Yan, KeAsia, Ju'Vantae, and Audriana; her best friend since childhood, LaKisha Byers of Statesville; her special friend, Darlene Wilson; and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.
