Brenda Lynn Shores Sauni, 58, of Hauula, Hawaii, passed away on Friday, May 12, 2017. Brenda was born on November 9, 1958 in Kahuku, Hawaii. She was born Brenda Lynn Shores, grew up in Hauula and attended Hauula Elementary and graduated from Kahuku High School in 1976. She married Mealofa Sauni in 1993. She was one of Jehovah's Witnesses and was employed as an Educational Assistant for DOE in Hawaii. Brenda was the 7th child our of eleven from William and Rebecca Shores.
She is survived by husband, Mealofa Sauni; brothers, William Shores, Jr, Thomas Shores, Sr., and Robert Shores; sisters, Lorna M Pablo, Wilma Thompson, Wendy Aipia, Susan Nihipali, Dorothy Shores, and Mary Simmons. She is preceded in death by her father, William Shores, Sr.; mother, Rebecca Shores; brother, Richard Shores.
Memorial Services for Brenda will be held at Hauula Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses on Wednesday, May 31, 2017 starting at 10:00 am. Burial to follow at Valley of the Temples at 1:00 pm. Family requests Aloha Attire.
