QUEENSBURY, N.Y. — Wayne Thomas Fleming, age 64, passed away on April 8th 2017 at the Community Hospice Inn at St. Peter’s Hospital in Albany, N.Y.
Wayne graduated from Fort Ann Central High School, Andrews University, and received his MBA from Marymount University.
After his college graduation, Wayne joined the Marine Corps, where he served with distinction for more than 20 years.
He was a highly decorated Marine, retiring as a Lt. Colonel in 1996.
At the time of his death, he was still teaching part time at SUNY Adirondack.
Wayne came to live with Russell and Lillian Taylor of West Fort Ann while still a teenager, and was forever after considered a beloved son to them.
A graveside service will take place at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, May 30th 2017 at the Saratoga National Cemetery in Saratoga, N.Y.
