Nadine Evans Redmond, 82, of Louisburg, died Friday, January 15, 2010, at Louisburg Nursing Center. Graveside services will be held Monday at 11:15 a.m. at Sandy Creek Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Joel Story officiating. She is survived by her sons, Frank Redmond of Phoenix, AZ, Robert Redmond and wife, Betty Jo, of Louisburg, Phil Redmond and wife, Rita, of Nashville, TN; daughters, Joyce Perdue of Wilmington, NC, Becky Vasquez and husband, Ralph, of Louisburg, nine grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; sisters, Janice Dickerson of Louisburg and Julia Elam of Raleigh; and brother, Richard Evans of Raleigh. There will be a viewing only on Sunday from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. at Lancaster Funeral and Cremation Services, 804 N. Bickett Boulevard, Louisburg. The family will receive friends on Saturday and Sunday at her home at 182 Evans Road, Louisburg from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. and Monday from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at Sandy Creek Baptist Church Sanctuary. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Sandy Creek Baptist Church, P.O. Box 60, Louisburg, NC 27549.
