Oliver R. Hall, Jr., 89, of Pensacola, FL went to be with the Lord on May 24, 2017 surrounded by his family and friends. He was born August 11, 1927 in Birmingham, AL. He retired in 1988 as Vice President of C&P National Bank. He enjoyed fishing, riding motorcycles, flying his own airplane and was a member of Marcus Pointe Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Faye Hall; four children, Steve Hall (Dottie), Nancy (Eddie) Morton of Jacksonville, FL, Janet Hall Gonzalez (Robert Granberry) of Pensacola, Renee (Mike) Frith of Orlando, FL; six grandchildren, Kris Morton, Steve Gonzalez, Amanda Jarman, Lynn Kellum, Mike Morton, Kenny Morton; 11 great grandchildren; brother, Marvin (Janelle) Hall; and sister, Linda Hall.
A special thanks to Lonnie Stone for all his support during this difficult time.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 27, 2017at Faith Chapel Funeral Home South with Pastor Gordon Godfrey officiating. Burial will follow services in Bayview Memorial Park Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at 1:00 p.m. prior to services.
Pallbearers will be his grandson, Steve Gonzalez; great grandson, Tristan Fiveash; and friends, Barry Jarman, Ricky Eggert and John Kellum.
