Larry M. Underwood, 69, of Oak Grove, Missouri passed away Sunday, January 15, 2017, due to a sudden illness. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, January 19th at Royer Funeral Home, Oak Grove, burial in the Oak Grove Cemetery. Larry was born March 6, 1947, in Lincoln, Nebraska to Samuel and Viola Underwood. He was a graduate of Blue Springs High School and worked for Jackson County Parks for many years. He also held various jobs later in his life. Larry moved to Oak Grove in 2007. He attended Oak Grove Christian Church. He loved his family and friends, stock car racing and music of all kinds, his favorite being country.
