Leon Theodise Nichols, 67, of Jacksonville, FL passed away to his heavenly home on May 19, 2017.

He was a faithful worker at Greyhound Lines, Inc. for over 40 years and a dedicated member of Central C.M.E. Church.

Leon was preceded in death by his parents, George and Leola Nichols, siblings, Janie Ann Nichols, John Nichols, Clemetine Johnson and Georgette Nichols and one brother-in-law, Hobert Johnson Jr. He leaves to cherish his memories; wife, Brenda Nichols, one daughter, Lamisha McBath; two sons, Leon Jr. and Latonio Nichols; one grandchild, Krislyn Nichols; one great-grandchild, Kaven Nichols; two godchildren, LaToya Hendley and Morgan Brown; one sister, Emma Lee Walker; three brothers, George (Sheila), Willie and Dennis Nichols; special mother-in-law, four sisters-in-law, four brothers-in-law; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and close friends.

The viewing will be held Friday, May 26th from 4-7 PM. Funeral services will commence Saturday, May 27, 2017 at 11:00 AM in the Central CME Church, Pastor John Pasley, officiating. Interment will be at Jacksonville National Cemetery, Tuesday, May 30th at 10:00AM. Professional services provided by HOLMES GLOVER SOLOMON FUNERAL DIRECTORS, INC., Brentwood Avenue.
