He is survived by his loving wife, Mildred; sisters, Jean, Patty and Bonnie; and brothers, Bo and Gary. Doug leaves behind a host of extended loving family and friends and will be dearly missed by all.
Doug proudly served his country during the Vietnam Conflict in the United States Army, Co A, 4th Bn, 47th Infantry. His dedication of bravery and sacrifice earned him the Purple Heart and Bronze Star. Doug was a life member of American Legion VA Post 0054 and the VFW.
