Mrs. Nadine Roberson Bennett, age 85 of Aragon, Georgia passed away Thursday, December 24, 2015.
Mrs. Bennett was born on April 30, 1930 in Aragon, daughter of the late Bannie Moore Roberson and the late John William Roberson. She was a member of the Euharlee Baptist Church and prior to retirement was employed with the Goodyear Mill. Mrs. Bennett was an avid Braves baseball fan. She was preceded in death by five siblings.
Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Billy and Faye Bennett and Ricky and Stacey Bennett all of Aragon; three grandchildren, Matthew Lamar Bennett, Nicki Powell, and Clay Bennett; four great-grandchildren, Colton Lamar Bennett, Abigail Elizabeth Bennett, McKenzie Powell and Alexus Rose Bennett; nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services for Mrs. Bennett will be held on Saturday, December 26th at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of the Freeman Harris Funeral Home with Rev. Owen (Bud) Davis, Jr. officiating. Interment services will follow in the family lot of the Aragon Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday prior to service between the hours of 1:00 and 2:30 p.m.
