Mr. Becker was born in Belleville May 2, 1866, and was a son of the late Frederick and Margaretta Becker. He married Caroline Westrich in St. Louis January 3, 1900. She survives.
A son, Russell, was killed in 1935 in a traffic accident on the Mascoutah Road and a daughter, Margaret, died in infancy.
He was a member of Local 182 of the AFL International Molders and Foundry Workers Union.
