Many of her favorite memories were of Chippewa Lake Park, swimming, ice skating, riding the roller coaster and other rides and most of all dancing in the ballroom to the Big Bands. Elaine graduated from Baldwin Wallace College with a degree in Business, but chose after graduation to marry Kenneth J. Myers, whom she loved deeply and to raise her family. She resided in Westfield Center for the remainder of her life except for many winters in Venice, Florida. Elaine was a kind, patient and wise wife and mother. She was a person of principle and a loyal trust-worthy friend.
Left with many memories of her love and care are her children, Michael Myers and Lynn (Stephen) Green; grandchildren, Brian (Wendy) Myers, Sarah (Tony) Accordino, Becky Wiles and Evan Green and seven great-grandchildren.
Elaine was preceded in death by her parents, Francis Allen and Bess Taylor; her husband of 55 years, Kenneth Myers; son, Thomas H. Myers and sister, Nancy Michaels.
Calling hours will be held Saturday, May 26, 2017 from 12 Noon to 2 P.M., followed by a Funeral Service at 2 P.M., at the Armstrong Funeral Home, 25 Pleasant St., Seville. Interment will be at the Westfield Cemetery, following the service.
