Hattie Greene Watts, age 88 of Wilkes County passed away on Tuesday, May 23, 2017. She was born to Chilo and Martha Hamby Greene on Wednesday, May 15, 1929. She was a faithful member at North Wilkesboro Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses. Hattie enjoyed cooking for her family and friends and loved having conversations about the Bible, she loved her family and the time she got to spend with them.

She is preceded in death by her mother and father, and her husband; Earl Watts, two sisters; Daisy Watts and Geneva Cole and sons; Bruce Watts and Edward Watts.

Those left to cherish her memory are granddaughter; Amber Shores and husband Eric of Roaring Gap, a sister; Marie Parker of Wilkesboro, two half sisters; Virginia and Carol, daughter- in – laws; Suk-Cha Watts of Roaring River and Doris Watts of Asheville, with a number of nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, May 28, 2017 at 4:00 pm at North Wilkesboro Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses with the Elder Christopher Absher. Visitation will follow the Memorial Service. Burial will be held at the Scenic Memorial Garden at a later date.
