Eldon Advertiser August 16, 1950 VICTOR E. NIXDORF SERVICES HELD AT TUSCUMBIA
Funeral services were conducted Friday afternoon, August 4, 1950 at the First Christian Church in Tuscumbia. for Victor E. Nixdorf, 67, who died suddenly of a heart attack Wednesday morning. Rev. John Jenkins, pastor, officiated at the services. Burial was in the Bear Cemetery near Tuscumbia under the direction of Phillips Funeral Service. Victor E. Nixdorf was born April 10, 1883 at Pleasant Farm, Miller County, Missouri. He was the son of Anton Paul and Wilhehnina Nixdorf. Mr. Nixdorf was preceded in death by his first wife, Lydia Bear Nixdorf and by his oldest son, Perry T. Nixdorf. On May 20, 1947, he was married to Minnie Small Messersmith, who survives. Also surviving are four children, Homer of the Great Lakes,Ill., Otis of Granite City, Ill., Paul of Kansas City, Mo. and Mrs. Edith Livingston of Duluth, Minn.: two brothers, A. P. and W. C. Nixdorf, both of Ulman; one sister, Mrs. Addie Livingston, Iberia; and six grandchildren.
