Bobby Joe “B.J.” Pearson, age 78, of Douglasville, passed away Monday, May 22, 2017. He was born in Forsyth County, Georgia, on January 2, 1939, the son of the late Parlen Ethan Pearson and the late Elba Fannie Nunis Pearson. He was a retired maintenance technician and a former security officer. He was a member of Clearview Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his sister, Dot Hulsey; and his brothers: Billy Pearson, Thomas Harold Pearson, Oliver Pearson, and Durel Pearson.
He is survived by his wife of 22 years, Ann Price Pearson of Douglasville; sister: Modene Phillips of Blue Ridge; brothers: Franklin D. Pearson of Douglasville and Faustine Pearson of Japan; sister-in-law: Margie Pearson of Villa Rica; several nieces and nephews.
The Funeral Service will be held Friday, May 26, 2017 at 2:00 P.M. at Hightower’s Memorial Chapel in Douglasville with Pastor Rick Eaves and Brother Terry Lyons officiating.
Interment will follow in Beulah Baptist Church Cemetery.
