Funeral service for Barbara A. Hurst, 77, of Alexandria will be Monday, April 3rd, 2017 at Gray Brown-Service with Pastor David Screws officiating. Burial will follow at Edgemont cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12-1pm at the funeral home. Mrs. Hurst passed away Saturday at her home

Survivors include her husband of 50 years, Arenton "Buddy" Hurst; daughters Wendy Hurst Smith (Billy) of Atlanta and Christy Hurst Tucker of Anniston; grandchildren Brittany A. George, Lloyd A. George III, and Emma G. Tucker; sister Linda Brannen (Bill) of Palm Coast, Fl; and nephews Barry and Bill Jr. of Florida.

Mrs. Hurst is preceded in death by her parents James and Gladys Hubbard.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.

Mrs. Hurst, also known as Bug-Ann, was a member of Wellborn Christian Church. She loved ceramics and crocheting. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother and will be greatly missed.
