WARREN THEODORE "TED" HUNTER Born September 9, 1926 in Oglesby, Illinois. Ted passed away peacefully on February 10, 2007.

After graduating from the University of Illinois, Ted moved to the Southern California area in 1950 to begin a professional career with Douglas Aircraft that spanned nearly four decades and took him and his family to Kwajalein in the Marshall Islands. Ted has been a resident of Sherman Oaks for the past 47 years.

Preceded in death by his beloved son, Bill; six brothers and one sister.

Ted is survived by his wife of 50 years, Chris; children, Cora (John), Jim (Carleen), Ted (Lori), Jane (Tom) and Glenn (Carolyn); seventeen precious grandchildren; sisters, Grace and Jean; and Lucy, his faithful canine companion.

Ted lived life his way. He will be remembered for his caring demeanor, insightful wisdom and intellectual challenges. He cared for everyone he met. His presence in our lives will be missed, but never forgotten.
