Theresa Lynn Howell, 28, Hampton, Virginia, died suddenly Saturday, July 1, at Hampton, Virginia.

She was born in Annapolis, Maryland on August 25, 1960, the daughter of Maldon Pierce Spaw, Mintonville and the late Betty Elizabeth Jeffery Spaw. She was a student at Thomas Nelson College.

Survivors include her father; one son, Elijah Howell, San Antonio, Texas; one daughter, Nichole Howell, San Antonio, Texas; two brothers, Joe Spaw, Virginia Beach, Virginia and Craig Spaw, Bethelridge; one sister, Shelia Spaw, Somerset; one half-sister, Sandra Bronson, Fort Pierce, Florida; and her grandparents, Horace and Mattie Spaw, Bethelridge.

She is preceded in death by her mother.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 8, at 11 a.m. at Carter Ridge Baptist Church with the Rev. Richard Owens officiating.

Burial will be in Carter Ridge Cemetery.
