Roger W. Sparks, 62, of Bloomfield passed away Saturday May 20, 2017 at IU Health Hospice House in Bloomington.
Born October 3, 1954 in Daviess County, Ind. the son of Willis Harold Sparks and Mary (Westhafer) Sparks.
Roger was a Lead Electronic Technician at Crane, he was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran of the Vietnam War and a member of the Bloomfield American Legion Post # 196.
Surviving relatives include his wife Lori Sparks of Bloomfield, one daughter, MaLee Sparks of Bloomfield, three sons, Roger Sparks of Vincennes, Josh Sparks of Washington, Jace Sparks of Vincennes, three brothers, Ronnie Sparks, Randy Sparks, Robin Sparks, one sister Sylvia Lawhead and seven grandchildren.
Roger was preceded in death by his parents.
Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. on Thursday and 10 a.m. Friday until the hour of service at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield.
Services will be held at 12 p.m. on Friday at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield with Rev. Arlen Pope officiating. Burial will follow at Antioch Cemetery in Bloomfield with Military Honors by the Bloomfield American Legion Post # 196.
