Lelia Zane Davis, 85, died Thursday, May 17, 2017 in Lubbock, Texas.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 pm, Thursday, May 25, 2017 at Liberty Baptist Church with burial to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Horizon Funeral Home of Dalhart.

Lelia Zane Gray was born May 27, 1931 in Nara Visa, NM to Charles Luther & Lelia (Gregston) Gray. She attended school in Nara Visa, NM, Durham, KS and graduated Dalhart High School. Lelia married Charles “Red” H. Davis on May 12, 1949 and had 3 children together. Lelia was an antiques and collectables dealer and owned Zane’s Antiques a store in Dalhart in the 1980’s. She loved the LORD and was a member of the Liberty Baptist Church.

Lelia is survived by her 2 daughters- Sara Kapera of Kansas City, MO and Susan LaRocco of Mount Ephraim, NJ, and a son Phillip S. Davis of Lubbock, TX, 3 grandsons- Stephen LaRocco of Greenville, SC, David & Daniel LaRocco of Mount Ephraim, NJ as well as 2 great grandsons- Samuel LaRocco of Greenville, SC and Benjamin LaRocco of Greenville, SC.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Charles “Red” H. Davis and her parents.
