One of three children, Helen was born on April 13, 1936 to George Bailey and Mattie Estell (Warden) Evans in Bowie, Texas. Helen was a loving mother, grandmother and friend. She served as the chief of Police in Muenster for eighteen years.
Helen is survived by her: daughter and son-in-law, Sabra Ann and Greg Robertson of Bowie; seven grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, Joe B. and Betty Evans of Sunset. She was preceded in death by her daughter-in-law, Kay Tompkins; sons: Mike and Joey Tompkins; two grandchildren; and brother, Bobby “Stick Horse” Evans.
Honorary pallbearers are: Bobby Tompkins, Jeramiah Robertson, Brian Tompkins, Matt Robertson, Cody Tompkins, and Jennifer Tompkins.
