Margaret Ann Becker was born July 13, 1930 to C. Henry Busse and Carrie Catherine Conner Busse in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was the apple of her daddy’s eye who loved to spoil her growing up. She was the oldest of two daughters. On May 18, 2017, in the blink of an eye, her Lord took her to heaven.

Born and raised in Tulsa, Margie graduated from Holy Family Cathedral High School. On July 14th, 1951, she married Thomas Byron Keim at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. They bore six children, three of whom preceded her in death, Thomas Anthony, Georgiann Marie and Elizabeth Ann Keim.

Margie was a gifted homemaker and raised her children to love and serve as she did. She loved life. One of Margie’s greatest gifts was her love of God. Her faith as a Roman Catholic carried her through the loss of three children and two husbands. She was an active member and Eucharistic minister at St. Andrews Roman Catholic Church in Oklahoma City. She returned to Tulsa in 2008 where she served her Lord faithfully in praying the rosary daily.

Margie was preceded in death by her husband Byron in 1975 and her second husband Jim Becker in 2011. She is survived by one sister Betty Oexmann of Tulsa; daughter Rita Bacon of Sand Springs; sons, Michael Keim of Tulsa and Thomas Keim of Oklahoma City. She was blessed with three grandchildren, Kyle Yates of Norman; Aethena Ward; Christopher Sumner of Woodland Hills, California. Her blessings extended to another generation of great-grandchildren: Savannah and Austin Fisher of Sand Springs, Braydon Ward of Sand Springs, and Arielle and Gabriella Sumner of Woodland Hills, California. From the union of Margie and Jim Becker, she is survived by two sons Steve and Robert Becker and two more generations of grandchildren.

A Rosary will be held Monday, May 22nd, at 7:00 PM at Fitzgerald Ivy Chapel, 1402 South Boulder Avenue, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. A Mass of the Resurrection will be held Tuesday morning at 10:00 AM at Holy Family Cathedral, 8th and South Boulder Avenue, in Tulsa.

In lieu of flowers, please make donations to St. Pius X Catholic School for the Byron Keim Memorial Library.
