Phenie Turner, age 86, of Texarkana, Texas, went to be with the Lord, Saturday, December 3, 2016, in a Texarkana, Texas hospital.
Jean was born, December 1, 1930, in Bowie County, Texas, to Marlin and Sealy Beard. She was a member of the Women of the Moose, Texarkana, a Baptist by faith, and she loved spending time with her friends and family. She was preceded in death by her parents; two husbands; two children, Nan Vaughan, and Michael Keith Turner.
She is survived by a son, Paul Draper and LouAnn of Abilene, Texas; two brothers, Charles Beard and wife Glynis of Rockhill, South Carolina, Gary Beard and wife Kathy of Douglassville, Texas; one sister, Rosie Scott of Linden, Texas; five grandchildren, Curtis Scott, Brandon Turner, Shelly Turner, Star Turner, Daniel Draper; twelve great grandchildren; four great great grandchildren; and a number of other nephews, nieces, and other relatives.
Graveside Service will be 2:00 pm, Saturday, December 10, 2016, in Antioch Cemetery, under the direction of Hanner Funeral Service, with Bro. James Wallace officiating.
Visitation will be from 11:30 am – 1:30 pm, Saturday, December 10, 2016, at Hanner Funeral service.
Interment will be in Antioch Cemetery.
