Cathy J. (Lee) Walker, 61 of Greensburg, passed away on Wednesday, May 17, 2017 in Orlando, FL. Cathy was born on July 14, 1955 in Greensburg, the daughter of Charles and Barbara (Dillow) Lee. She married James Walker on January 23, 1989 in Florida and he survives.
Other survivors include her two sons – Eric Shafer of Greensburg and Philip Shafer of Kissimmee, FL; Her parents; her siblings – Eddy (Ronda) Lee, Gary (Becky) Lee, Lisa (Willie) Wilson, Lori (John) Wilson and Angie (Tim) Stapp all of Greensburg; 11 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her daughter Jamie Shafer.
Cathy worked various jobs throughout her life including radio DJ for WTRE, a job placement company in Florida that hired for Disney and an auction company in Florida. She was a licensed auctioneer, avid pianist and a member of the Greensburg Wesleyan Church.
Visitation for family and friends will be held on Tuesday, May 23, 2017 from 4PM – 7PM at the Gilliland-Howe Funeral Home. Funeral services will begin at 10:30AM on Wednesday, May 24 also at the funeral home with Rev. Doug Preston officiating. Burial will follow at the South Park Cemetery.
