Eva P Abrahamson, 81, of 1209 21st Ave. Rock Island, formerly of 3132 14th St. Moline, died Saturday at Silver Cross Nursing Center at Friendship Manor.
Services will be 11 AM Monday at Salem Lutheran Church, Moline. Burial will be at Moline Memorial Park.
Eva Hoffstedt was born in Moline, the daughter of David Achatius and Alma Emelia Oberg Hoffstedt. She married Harry R. Abrahamson in March 1935 in Moline.
Eva was employed as secretary at Salem Lutheran Church in Moline, Illinois for 25 years with retirement in 1969. She was a church member for 70 years and was also a Sunday School Teacher and Department Superintendent for 25 years. Eva also worked as a Secretary in the Advertising Department of John Deere & Company. John Deere made the first steel plow in 1837. She was a 60 year member of Frej Lodge 16 IOS.
Eva and Harry had a son who died at birth.
