James McFarlin passed away Wednesday, December 17, 2014 at the age of 59. James was born in Elkhorn, Wisconsin, on September 21, 1955 to James Luke McFarlin and Patricia (Young) McFarlin.
James worked his entire adult life for Continental Airlines, starting shortly after high school. His nickname at work was "Bear". He started out loading airplanes and concluded his career as a payload specialist at the downtown location of Continental. His co-workers will remember him as one who would work holidays, so co-workers could enjoy the holiday with their family.
He is survived by 3 brothers, Jerry McFarlin, Terry McFarlin of Pasadena, Texas, and Blaine McFarlin of Hampshire, Texas along with 1 niece, Sarah Alley and 3 nephews Tory McFarlin, Jeff McFarlin and Chad McFarlin, along with 3 great nieces and 3 great nephew. He was predeceased by his parents, James and Patricia McFarlin.
