She is survived by her son, Donald W. Rhodes, his wife, Julie Rhodes, grandchildren Adam R. Hagee and Heather L. Short, James C. Short, and great-grandchildren Jacob, Hailey, Landon and Winter. She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Frank Herbert "Herb" Rhodes and her parents, Ruth Siebert Wolf and Paul L. Wolf of Terre Haute, Indiana.
Phyllis was as a Dental Hygienist in Indianapolis where she married Herb and had their only child, Don. In 1971, the family moved to Summit Estates in Cincinnati. In 2012, the couple moved to New England Club. G.G. was a devoted wife, loving mother and member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church. She was thoughtful, generous and full of life. Thank you to all Phyllis and Herb's friends in Cincinnati who helped with their care throughout the years.
Phyllis will be buried next to Herb at Mt. Moriah Cemetery in Cincinnati. There will be a brief graveside ceremony led by Pastor William Fenker on Tuesday, May 23 at 10:30 am. Anyone wishing to attend may stop by the cemetery office for directions to the gravesite. Condolences can be left for the family at
