Joelle was on a camping trip in Bartow County, Georgia. She was critically injured when the tree holding the hammock in which she was sleeping snapped and fell on her around 11:30 p.m. at Red Top Mountain State Park.She was transported by EMS to Erlanger Hospital in Chattanooga, Tennessee where she died.

Joelle was a Freshman (10th grade) student at Harrison High School, Kennesaw, Cobb County, Georgia. She was 15 years old.
She ran Cross Country her freshman year.


Joelle was a member of Sanctuary Church in Kennesaw.


Joelle is survived by her parents; Ken and Patty Dalgleish, and her sister, Kylie Dalgleish, all of Acworth, Georgia. She is also survived by her Maternal Grandparents; Karen Pshena, Acworth, Georgia, Norm & Rita Brown, Tulsa, Oklahoma, Paternal Grandparents; Jim Dalgleish, Payson, Arizona, Beu Dalgleish, Gilbert, Arizona, Aunts: Susan and her husband John Manuel, Stacey and her husband Travis Fentress; Uncle: Richard Brown.

Visitation: 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. May 24, 2017 at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory, 2480 Macland Rd SW
Marietta, Georgia 30064.

A Memorial Service will be held 6 p.m. Thursday, May 25th at North Metro Church with Rev. Craig Bowler officiating.
