MRS. MILLER TO BE BURIED AT HARVARD.
Funeral to Take Place in that City on Thursday Afternoon. Funeral services for the late Mrs. Earl Miller, announcement of whose sudden death at Harvard yesterday was a great shock to this city, will be held at Harvard, Ill., Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock, with interment in that city. A number from this city will go to Harvard to attend the funeral. Mrs. Miller's death was due to heart failure and was entirely unexpected, her condition having shown marked improvement and the fatal attack coming suddenly and without warning. Mr. Miller had been at Harvard for Sunday and had returned to this city only a few hours before the message of his wife's death was received. Mrs. Miller was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. F. Hanley of Harvard and was 27 years of age. Her marriage to Mr. Miller three years ago was the outgrowth of a college acquaintance formed at Beloit. Mrs. Miller had surrounded herself with a host of admiring friends in this city to whom her death comes as a great sorrow.

HARVARD REPORTS TELL OF DEATH OF MRS. EARL MILLER STRICKEN SUDDENLY, WHILE APPARENTLY IMPROVING SHE SURVIVED BUT TWENTY MINUTES, FUNERAL HELD AT HARVARD TODAY
Harvard, Ill., reports received in the city today relative to the death of Mrs. Earl Miller, of this city, whose funeral was held at Harvard this afternoon, say that up to within twenty minutes of her sudden demise Mrs. Miller was apparently well and her condition wholly satisfactory, as it had been for days previous.
A few mintues before death came Mrs. Miller spoke of slight pain in her left knee, a moment later in her left hip, followed immediately by a muscular tremor and difficulty in breathing. Though the physician and nurse were present and did all that medical skill suggested, death ensued within twenty minutes. The cause being the freeing of a clot of blood in a vein which was carried to the heart. The formation of the clot of blood is attributed to an accident she sustained about a year ago, falling down a flight of stairs. Olive Manley Mailler was born April 8, 1891, and graduated from the Harvard high school in 1909. She attended school at the University of Illinois at Urbana and was a member of the Pi Beta Phi in 1910. She was married to Earl Miller of this city Sept. 27, 1911. Besides her husband and baby daughter, Mrs. Miller is survived by her parents and two brothers. Mr. and Mrs. F.A. Miller and E.C. Sixta of this city are at Harvard for the funeral today.
