Larry was born on July, 26, 1935, in Clay County, Iowa, to the late Cecil and Mable (Diehl) Hamrick. He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister, Lavon Hydorn, and his son, Timothy Lee Hamrick.
On May 20, 1994, he married Annette Elms, who survives. He is also survived by his daughter: Elanah Kay (Wilds) Hamrick; son, Larry Lee (Tammy) Hamrick, Jr.; stepson, Ryan Head; seven grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
He was a carpenter and in his spare time would often work on antique furniture. Larry loved the time he had with his grandchildren. Larry also collected marbles, enjoyed gardening and cooking. He loved spending time with his faithful companion, his cat, Yogi.
In keeping with Larry's wishes, cremation has taken place. Arrangements are being handled by Halbritter Wickens Funeral Home, 615 E. Main St., Niles, MI 49120.
