George was the son of David Logsdon & Rebecca Uhl. He married 22 Aug 1859 Sarah Catherine Durbin. They were the parents of 7 children: Lloyd T., George McClellan, Mary, John B., Joseph James (twin), Paul Benjamin (twin) & Thomas B. Logsdon.
2nd he married 26 Apr 1911 Mary Elizabeth Buck.
