Mabel Caroline Fiscella, 83, died on April 26, 2017. She is survived by her husband, Joseph Fiscella, 4 children (Joe, Noreen, Mary & John), 6 grandchildren & 2 great grandchildren. She is predeceased by both parents (John & Elizabeth Fastiggi), a brother (Vincent) & sister (Betty). Mabel was raised in Rye, NY & attended La Salle College. Mabel loved art, which she taught early on & later opened the Sound Shore Art Gallery in Port Chester. Her love for art & her creative talent touched everyone in her life especially her children & grandchildren. When she retired, she moved to Florida where she enjoyed the beaches & sunshine, while continuing to make pottery & paint. She was the most loving & kind person. Heaven has gained an Angel. A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, June 7th at 10:00 am at Our Lady of Mercy Church at 260 Westchester Ave, Port Chester, followed by a memorial at Greenwood Union Cemetery in Rye. Donations may be made to the Clay Arts Center in Port Chester in her name.
