She was married on October 27, 1872 in Montgomery County, Tennessee to David Johnson Alley (1840-1918), the son of David Alley.
Living in Montgomery County's Civil District 10, she was 70 years old and married when she had a general breakdown and died of aortic regurgitation at home on October 17, 1914. Burial was the next day in Civil District 10 [in her family's burial ground].
