Larry Dale Sutton, 76, a Cape Coral resident since 1978, passed away on March 23, 2917. Larry was born in Scottsburg, IN to the late Floyd Sutton and Louise Moss Sutton.
Larry is survived by his wife of 52 years, Ann(nee Lyons), and two sons, Mark (Michelle) of Argyle, TX and Matthew (Anne) of Chicago, IL. He has four grandchildren: Rebecca, Jacob, Elyse, and Graham; and Sandy, his canine pal. Other family members include Tom Lyons of Grandview, TX. and Linda and Kinney Walters of Cape Coral, FL.
Larry graduated from Scottsburg High School in 1959, received a B.A. from Indiana University in 1964, and received his law degree from the University of Texas. After practicing law in North vernon, IN and serving as Jennings-Scott prosecuting attorney, he moved his family to Cape Coral where Larry practiced law until the time of his death, He was formerly the president of the Cape Coral Community Foundation Board, and President of the local Lion's Club. Larry's loves were his family, travel and the Florida sun.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Hope Hospice of Cape Coral or the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation C/O Buchanan Funeral Home, Austin, IN.
