Linda F. (Tougas) Sears, 73, of Blackstone, MA passed away peacefully at home on Monday, May 16, 2016 with her loving family by her side. She is the beloved wife for 35 years of Philip D. Sears. Born in Medway, MA on September 29, 1942, she is the daughter of the late Homer E. and Jacqueline E. (duQuesnay) Tougas. She is the loving mother of Leo Lamothe Jr. of Woonsocket, RI, Lynnette Mowry of Chepachet, RI, Laura Lee Young of Omaha, NE, Leonard Lamothe of Milford, MA, and step-mother of Danielle Diaz of Worcester, MA. She leaves her cherished 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. She is the sister of Bonnie Andrian of Floral City, FL, Janeen Lamothe of Floral City, FL, Michelle Miller of Springfield, TN, Melissa Jacobson of Floral City, FL, Aleta Rondeau of Barre, MA, and the late Errol Tougas of Bellingham and the late Laureen Ivey of Douglas, MA. Linda worked for the Kennedy Donovan Center in Milford, MA, opening her home to many troubled children and adults. She was an animal loving woman giving a home to many rescued cats and dogs. More than anything else she loved and adored her husband. Devoted to her family, she will be greatly missed. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, May 21st at 6:00PM at CARTIERS FUNERAL HOME, 151 So. Main St., (Rte 126), Bellingham, MA. Visiting hours are from 4PM to 6PM prior to service. In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Linda F. Sears to the Dana-Farber Cancer Center, 20 Prospect St., Milford, MA 01757 would be appreciated.
