Greece: April 8, 2017, at the age of 53. Predeceased by her loving partner, David Angarano; father, Floyd V. Hayes Jr. She is survived by two sons, George (Amber Gavaldon) Montenegro & John (Matthew Drozd) Angarano; her mother Marilyn H. (Beach) Hayes; grandson, Phoenix Montenegro; brothers & sister, Kirk Hayes, Floyd V. Hayes II & Mylene Hayes, nieces & nephews, Nakesha, Janice, Shoudi Mae, Kodie, Deanna & Jayden.
Wendy was born on October 6, 1963 to Floyd & Marilyn Hayes in Huntington Beach, Ca. She grew up in Syracuse, NY with 3 siblings, Kirk, Floyd II, Mylene and she attended Roosevelt High School. After high school, Wendy attended Nursing School where she earned her LPN. She worked at St. Joseph’s Hospital and later on she worked in homecare in Clyde & Auburn, NY. Wendy loved throwing big birthday parties for her sons, George and John. She enjoyed cooking, reading and traveling, especially to Hawaii, Bahamas, Florida and the Carolina’s. Her family loved eating her homemade rainbow cake and her famous sauce. Wendy truly loved going to the beach. She savored the sun, the water and swimming. She was described as easy going, smart and had a great sense of humor. Wendy always thought of others first as she was a selfless, forgiving and accepting person. She will be deeply missed and will always be fondly remembered by her friends and family.
Her funeral service will be celebrated privately. Entombment in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
