Ethan Chad Johnson 13 of Shelley, died May 19, 2017 from injuries sustained in an accident.

He was born January 5, 2004 in Idaho Falls, ID to Conley Earl Johnson and Cori Lee Cederberg Johnson.

He grew up in Shelley and was a 7th grader at Hobbs Middle School. He was manager of the boys 7th grade basketball team and a straight A student. His favorite subject was "SOCIALIZING".

He enjoyed all sports, basketball, scootering, hiking, boating but his true passion was riding his dirt bike with his brothers and family, and camping at the motocross track and in the mountains. His favorite place to camp was in Spencer ID.

He was an outgoing young man, he was always thinking of others, he loved everyone especially his two older brothers, his dog Monroe, family, cousins and friends.

Ethan is survived by his parents, Conley and Cori Johnson of Shelley, brothers Tyrell and Austin Johnson of Shelley; grandparents, Blake and Linda Johnson of Shelley and Steve and Sheryl Cederberg of Shelley. He was preceded in death by his great grandparents and his Uncle Chad.

Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Thursday, May 25, 2017 at the Shelley Eighth Ward Chapel (184 North Park Ave) in Shelley with Bishop Trent Dye officiating. The family will meet with friends Wednesday evening from 6:00 till 7:30 p.m. at Nalder Funeral Home (110 W Oak Street) in Shelley and Thursday from 11:30 a.m. to 12:40 p.m. at the church. Burial will be in the Shelley Hillcrest Cemetery.

In honor of Ethan's love for personalizing things with stickers, his friends and family will be personalizing his casket with stickers before he is laid to rest. If you have a sticker approximately 6" or smaller that reminds you of Ethan, you are encouraged to bring it. If you don't have any and would like to participate in this honorary act there will be stickers provided.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations be made in Ethan's name to Nalder Funeral Home 110 W. Oak Street , Shelley , ID 83274 or the gofundme page that is set up in Ethan's name.
