Burial will be in Plainview Memorial Park by Lemons Funeral Home.
Mr. Pittman died Friday, Nov. 13, 1998, in Statesville, N.C.
He was born Oct. 24, 1949, in Big Spring. He grew up in Kress where he graduated from Kress High School. He graduated from Texas Tech and served with the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War.
He owned Eaton-Craig Office Supply and was a commercial pilot for Eastwind Airlines.
He was a member of First Baptist Church, the Lanny Voss Sunday School Class and Plainview Rotary Club.
On Feb. 6, 1988, he married Debra Holt in Euless.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Travis and Trey Pittman, both of Plainview; his parents, Emmet and Jackie Pittman of Plainview; and his wife´s parents, William and Mary Holt of Statesville
A brother, Virgil Pittman, is deceased.
The family suggests memorials to First Baptist Building Fund.
