Ralph was born in Hidalgo, Kentucky on January 15, 1940, the son of Garland Kennedy and Leland (Coyle) Hardy.
He worked for Muncie Bread Company, Colonial Bread Company and Wonder Bread Company. He also owned and operated Timbers Lounge.
Ralph enjoyed classic cars, country music and traveling with his family. He enjoyed spending time at the lake and best of all, being with his grandchildren.
Survivors include his wife of fifty-four years, Barbara (Price) Kennedy; three daughters, Sherry Barber Kennedy (husband, Mat), Julie Calvert (husband, Tony) and Kathy Kennedy (husband, Chris Woodcock); his beloved grandchildren, Sam, Baxter and Gibson Barber Kennedy, Hannah and Abigail Calvert, Vivienne and Scarlett Woodcock.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Services will be 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 23, 2017 at The Meeks Mortuary and Crematory, Washington Street Chapel. Burial will follow in Beech Grove Cemetery.
Family and friends may call from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. on Monday, May 22, 2017 or on Tuesday from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at the mortuary.
