After a long and courageous battle with cancer, Jack David Todd, 82, of Tucson, Arizona passed away peacefully on Friday, April 22, 2016.
Born in Waycross, Georgia to James and Alene Todd he lived most of his early life in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina and then joined the service and travelled all over the world before retiring in Tucson, Arizona.
Jack's wife, Margaret, of 63 years passed away in 2014.
Jack is survived by his children Rebecca Frey (daughter), Mike Frey
(son-in-law), Donna Vidal (daughter), Jackie Todd (daughter), John Todd
(son) and Tanya Todd (daughter-in-law) and his grandchildren: Justin
Frey, Taylor Frey, Benjamin Frey, Joshua Vidal, Crystal McPheron,
Tiffany Todd and his great grandchildren: Justin Frey, Jr., Natalia Frey, Joshua Frey, Gauge Vidal and Izzy McPheron.
Jack was proud to serve his country and worked in aviation electronics for 22 years in the Air Force. Upon retiring from the service Jack worked for another 22 years as an electrician/electrical foreman for Duval/Cyprus Sierrita Mines. He was a man who believed in the value of hard work.
Jack loved bowling, camping, hunting and most of all fishing. He enjoyedall kinds of sports, but especially U of A basketball. He was an avid Wildcat fan!
He also enjoyed watching old westerns and doing crossword puzzles. Jack
was always there to help family and friends with household projects, car repairs or fix whatever else was needed.
