Mrs. Martha Washington, 66 departed this earthly life on Tuesday May 16, 2017 at Clear Lake Regional Hospital in Webster, Texas. Mrs. Washington was born in Beaumont, Texas to Bessie Hall and Willie Moore on Jan. 18, 1951.
Martha is proceeded in death by both her parents, aunts, and her grand parents.
She leaves to cherish her memory husband John Washington Sr., children; Franklin (Yolanda), Donald, Courtney & Betrice (Kenneth), stepchildren; John & Lynn , ten grand-children, four great grandchildren, brother Leon & aunt Evvia, cousins, two goddaughters.
Martha graduated from Charlton Pollard High in 1968. She received an associate of arts degree in 1971. She worked as a pediatric student / nurse for a few years and then worked at ANICO for over 35yrs and retired. Went back to work for Criminal Law Enforcer with Galveston County Sheriff Dep. until her health failed.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday May 24, 2017 at 12:00 pm at St. Paul United Methodist Church in Galveston, TX. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 pm
