At the age of 79, Kay M. (Connor) Long, of Latrobe, died Friday, May 19, 2017, at home.
In addition to her parents (John Connor and Garnett Connor Demangone), she was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin L. Long, in February of 2017, and her youngest son, Corey L. Long, in 2007.
She was survived by her two children, Kimberly M. Ballash and her husband, Jim, and Lewis Kevin Long; two grandchildren, Nathan J. Ballash and his wife, Coletta, and Josh P. Ballash and his wife, Chelsea; two great-grandchildren, Reed and Gannon Ballash; two sisters, Janet Alexander and her husband, Robert, and Patricia Palenchar and her husband, Joseph; two brothers-in-law, Edwin Blaine Long and his wife, Marlene, and Richard B. Long and his wife, Mary Ann; and several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service was held in Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church with Trinity pastors officiating.
Burial in Unity Cemetery, Latrobe.
