Born to Gerald & Frances (Denham) Ritter. He married Mary Lea Brown May 14, 1959 Kansas City, Jackson, MO and to this union a daughter and a son were born. He served his country in the US Air Force from 1956-1960. His occupation was being a cable repairman for Southwestern Bell Telephone Co for 33 years retiring in 1992. He was a good family man and he loved gardening and gave away much to others. He loved "spoiling" his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

David is survived by his wife, Mary; daughter Judy Skorepa, and son, Steven Ritter; 3 grandchildren, and two great -grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, his brothers, James & Joe, and mother-in-law, Clyita Brown.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, May 22, 2017 at the First Baptist Church in Adrian, MO with visitation from 1-2 p.m. Burial in Crescent Hill Cemetery, Adrian, MO.
