CEDAR CITY - LaJean Wood Jolley Knell Sanford, age 75, passed away on October 20, 2006 in Bakersfield, California. She was born on September 5, 1931 in Cedar City, Utah to Elmer Hunter Wood and Melba Hollingshead. She married Reuben Kay Jolley, later divorced, she married Benjamin Kay Knell (deceased), and George Sanford (deceased). She is survived by her children Teresa Ann (Larry) Banks of Santa Clara, Utah; Susan (Keith) Rollins of Paragonah, Utah; Curtis Kay Jolley, of Denver, Colorado; Kathrine (David) Williams of Taft, California; and Reuben (Juanita) Jolley of Las Vegas, Nevada; 16 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren; her sisters and brother Sandra (Gary) Smith of West Jordan, Utah; Lee (Terry) Wood of Cedar City, Utah; and Alene (Dennis) Anderson of Cedar City, Utah. She is preceded in death by her parents and her brother John Wood.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday October 28, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. at the Cedar City 1st Ward Chapel (100 East Center Street). Visitations will be held on Friday October 27, 2006 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and also on Saturday October 28, 2006 from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at Southern Utah Mortuary.
