She was born Feb. 19, 1938, in Tullahoma, Tenn. She was married to Elbert Parsons. He passed away in 1977. She then married John L. Sutton, who passed away in 2005. She was a good person and a wonderful mother. We will miss you with all our hearts.
Mrs. Sutton had seven children: Carolyn Arrington of Steele, Brenda Jeske (deceased), Elbert Ray Parsons of Steele, Jerry Parsons of Gosnell, Ark., Pam Hanna of Ringgold, Ga., Richard Parsons of Steele and Mark Parsons (deceased); 13 grandchildren; two sisters, Alice Tart and Linda Carpenter, both of Dyersburg, Tenn., and three brothers, James Troup of Franklin, Tenn., Joe Troup of Greenfield, Tenn, and Jerry Troup of Memphis, Tenn.
Funeral services for Mrs. Sutton were held at John W. German Funeral Home. Interment followed at Number 8 Cemetery.
John W. German Funeral Home of Steele was in charge of arrangements.
