Philip Joseph Morgan, 89, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on January 3, 2016. He was born on March 31, 1926, to Marion and Patricia (Baragary) Morgan in Parma, Idaho. Philip entered World War 11 at the age of 17 and served in the Navy in the Pacific.
He married Lois Murphy on June 12, 1947. He worked as a carpenter and framed many homes in Lincoln. He worked as a building inspector for 20 years before his retirement. He was a member of the Cathedral of the Risen Christ Church for 62 years, a member of Perpetual Adoration for 40 years and a member of the Kings Men.

He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Lois; daughters, Phillis (Bob) Bryant, Diane Mattison; sons, Bob and Bruce; 10 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.

Rosary: 7 p.m. Wednesday, January 6, at Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral: 10 a.m. Thursday, January 7, at Cathedral of the Risen Christ. Masses or memorials to the Cathedral, in lieu of flowers.
