Thomas Watkins died at his home 58 Quogue Rd, Riverside on Jan 29. Mr Watkins was born on Feb 8, 1870. He is survived by his wife Sally and children, Adaline Fitzgerald, Kathleen Marshall, Barbara Hains, all of Brooklyn; Jenny of New York City; Grace Watkins, Dora Winsmore, Ralph and Thomas, all of Riverhead and Howard Watkins of Tampa, Fla.
Mr Watkins was a deacon of the First Baptist Church, Cutchogue, president of the Pastors’ Aid Society, a member of the Odd Fellows and Masons.
Masonic services were held at Reginald Tuthill’s Funeral Parlors on Tuesday evening, Jan 31 at 8: 30 pm. Religious services were held at the First Baptist Church in Cutchogue on Wednesday Feb 1 at 2 pm. Interment was at the Riverhead Cemetery with the Rev Percy B Tann officiating.
