He was the son of the late Claude C. and Mae B. (Graham) Arey.
Mr. Arey was a WWII Navy Veteran, and a member of the VFW.
He was also a member of the Masonic Fraternity, and the Pawtuxet Athletic Club.
He is survived by his twin brother Richard C. Arey of Warwick, and several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Sylvia Farnsworth, Phyllis Arey, Priscilla Cordes, and Emily Mosher.
A visitation will be held Tuesday, May 23, 2017 from 9-11 am with a service to follow at 11 am in the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Chapel, 2435 Warwick Avenue, Warwick. Burial with Military Honors will be in the R.I. Veterans' Memorial Cemetery, Exeter.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions to the Shriners Hospital for Children, 51 Blossom St., Boston, MA 02114 will be appreciated.
