Mr. Roper passed away Friday March 2, 2012. Born in Thistle, UT, he was the son of the late Philip and Olive Smith Roper. He was a retired Air Force Veteran, a member of The Ercoupe Owners Club and the EAA Chapter 242 Association.
He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Sharon Roper, sons, Paul Duell(Hazel) of Lexington and Robert Henry Roper(Cindy) of Corpus Christi, TX, daughter Karen Emerson of Canyon Lake, TX, grandchildren, Hannah, Emily and Nathan Duell, Andrew, Amanda, Gene and Jason Vela, Becky Foster, Michelle, Michael and Samantha Roper, Shauna, Gabrielle Smith and Raymond Roper, 4 great grandchildren.
